Geopark Youth Forum (GYF) of Bayah Dome National Geopark in Action

GYF in action

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Geopark Youth Forum (GYF) carried out a geological exploration activity at the Karang Taraje Geosite. This action was part of a series of activities aimed at introducing the Karang Taraje Geosite to environmental communities and students in Bayah through accuracy competitions and Geo-Action activities. The event included a video-making competition and concluded with a clean-up action.

The activity was attended by 50 participants and was made possible through collaboration between GYF and the Bayah Dome Geopark Management Body.

Those present at the event included the Organizing Committee Chair, Aldy; Lebak geology experts Iqbal and Hadi Nugraha; and Hadi Nugraha, Head of the Education and Community Empowerment Division of the Bayah Dome Geopark Management Body.

The activity took place in a cheerful atmosphere, starting at 8:00 a.m. WIB and ending at 4:00 p.m. WIB.
