Geotourism Guide Training and Certification Program, Banten Province, 2026
The 2026 Geotourism Guide Training and Certification Program for Banten Province was organized by the Center for Human Resources Development in Geology, Minerals, and Coal, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, from 18 to 23 May 2026 at Le Dian Hotel & Cottages, Serang City, Banten. The program aimed to enhance the competence and professionalism of geotourism guides in supporting sustainable geotourism development.
A total of 10 participants from the Bayah Dome National Geopark took part in the training and certification program, representing the geopark in strengthening local capacity for geotourism interpretation, visitor services, and sustainable geosite management.
