The 7th Geotourism Festival 2026 at the Toba Caldera UNESCO Global Geopark (UGGp)
Geotourism Festival 2026 at the Toba Caldera UNESCO Global Geopark (UGGp), held from 1 to 5 July 2026 across three locations: Simalungun, Samosir, and Karo, North Sumatra, Indonesia.
During the festival, the Bayah Dome National Geopark actively engaged in networking activities and exchanged knowledge and best practices with representatives from geoparks across Indonesia and the Asia–Pacific region. This participation provided valuable opportunities to strengthen institutional collaboration, foster innovation, and adopt effective approaches to geopark management, sustainable development, and research contributions. The experience gained from the event is expected to support the continuous improvement of the Bayah Dome National Geopark and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
