Bayah Dome Geopark

After the Lebak Regent gave a presentation on the process of developing the Bayah Dome Geopark starting from what a Geopark is and why it has to be a Geopark in Lebak Regency, a profile about the Bayah Dome Geopark to the management efforts that have been carried out before the Acting Governor of Banten, one of the important letters as part of the proposal requirements the determination of the Bayah Dome Geopark as a National Geopark was immediately signed by the Acting Governor of Banten. "The presentation delivered by the Regent of Lebak was very comprehensive and detailed, so there is no reason for us not to sign the letter of support and recommendation from the Governor of Banten for the Bayah Dome Geopark so that it can be designated as a National Geopark," said the Acting Governor of Banten.

Step by step Alhamdulillah this can be accomplished thanks to the joint hard work of all parties involved in the development of the Bayah Dome Geopark. The journey is still long, but at least the hope of becoming the Bayah Dome Geopark as an inclusive and global tourist destination, God willing, can be realized gradually. The most important thing is that currently the Bayah Dome Geopark has become a joint commitment by top leaders and is known regionally, next in 2024/2025, the Bayah Dome Geopark will become national and it is not impossible that in the future it will also go global.
