Endapan Turbidit Karang Taraje is a nationally ranked Geoheritage,
located in Sawarna Village, Bayah District, Lebak Regency, Banten.

Rocks:
The constituent rocks at this location consist of contact breccia with
sandstone and claystone. In the sandstone and claystone intersection,
sedimentary structures are found in the form of parallel lamination,
slump, convolute, flame structure, and load cast. The sedimentary
structure is formed due to the process of rapid deposition and has a
large mass. These rocks are thought to have been deposited in a slope
environment influenced by seawater currents. Characteristically, the
lithology at this location belongs to the Cimapag Formation which was
formed in the Early Miocene.

Landscape:
Beach with outcrops of sandstone and mudstone as the base, while in
the east, there are inn the east, there are outcrops of sandstones and
mudstones that form cliffs.
